MS can affect us all!

Multiple sclerosis (MS) radically changes the lives of those affected and their families. The inflammatory disease of the nervous system can cause severe impairments. Around 15,000 people in Switzerland are affected by this chronic and incurable disease, and one person is diagnosed with MS every day. The unpredictable disorders can affect every bodily function.

The Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Society is the first port of call for MS throughout Switzerland and sees itself as a point of contact for sufferers, relatives, volunteers and specialists. Since 1959, it has been providing a wide range of support and relief services that make everyday life easier for people with MS and their relatives:

• Counselling
• Events
• Group stays for people with severe MS
• Support for MS research
